Dialstack

Privacy policy

Last updated 4 November 2026. Applies to Dialstack for Android, package com.buffersol.dialstack.

In short: your leads, notes and call outcomes stay on your phone. Dialstack has no account, no ads and no call recording, and it never reads your call history. We do not sell data.

What is stored on your phone

Lead lists you import (names, phone numbers, companies, notes), the outcomes you log, callback reminders, session statistics and your settings. This data is stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. It is never transmitted to us.

What leaves your phone

DataWhenWhy
Anonymous usage counts (event names and counts such as "session started"). Never names, numbers or notes.Only if you turn on Settings → Share anonymous usage. Off by default.Improve the app.
Files you export (Excel or CSV) or shareOnly when you tap Export and pick where to send it.You choose the destination.

Dialstack does not currently back up your data to a server, so there is no cloud copy of your leads. If optional backup is added in a future version, it will be off by default, this policy will be updated first, and the Play Data safety form will be updated to match.

Crash reports are not collected in this version.

Contacts permission

Only if you tap Import from contacts, and after an explanation screen, Dialstack asks for the Read contacts permission. It copies names, phone numbers and companies into a call list on your phone. That data stays on your device, is not sent to us or anyone else, and Dialstack never edits your contacts. You can decline and import an Excel or CSV file instead, and you can withdraw the permission any time in Android settings.

Phone permission

Dialstack asks for the Call phone permission so it can place a call to the next lead on your list after you tap Start or Call. If you decline, each call opens your phone app and you tap the green button. Dialstack does not request your call log, contacts, microphone or location, and it does not record calls. It also asks for notification permission to show callback reminders.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers. There are no ads or ad SDKs in the app.

Retention and deletion

Your data stays on your phone until you delete it. Use Settings → Delete all data on this phone, or uninstall the app. See how to delete your data.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you on our servers, there is nothing for us to access, correct or erase on your behalf. If you are in the UK/EU (UK GDPR/GDPR), Canada (PIPEDA) or a US state with a privacy law (for example CCPA), you can still contact us at the address below with any request and we will answer it.

Your leads' data

The people on your lists are your contacts. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to call them and for honoring do-not-call rules. See the in-app Compliance tips for general pointers; they are not legal advice.

Children

Dialstack is for business use by adults (18+) and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and, where the change affects data collection, tell you in the app.
